Bangsamoro Joins Country in Celebrating 126th Year of Independence

The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) has proudly joined the nation in commemorating its 126th year since the declaration of Philippine independence. Today, interim Chief Minister Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim emphasized the importance of upholding democracy, urging all Bangsamoro citizens to serve as custodians of this fundamental value.


In a poignant statement, Ebrahim called for unity among the Bangsamoro people, echoing the spirit of solidarity that characterized the struggles of their ancestors. He envisioned a Bangsamoro region that is united, enlightened, self-governing, peaceful, just, morally upright, and progressive, reflecting the shared aspirations of its inhabitants.
