Chelsea Manalo, a resident of Bulacan, emerged victorious and claimed the highly sought-after Miss Universe Philippines 2024 title during the coronation ceremony held at the Mall of Asia Arena in the early hours of Thursday, May 23. Outshining 52 other hopefuls, including seasoned pageant veterans, Chelsea Manalo proved to be the epitome of beauty and grace. 

The runners-up were Stacey Gabriel from Cainta (1st runner-up), Maria Ahtisa Manalo from Quezon Province (2nd runner-up), Tarah Mae Valencia from Baguio (3rd runner-up), and Christi McGarry from Taguig (4th runner-up). From the initial 20 contestants, the night narrowed down to the Top 5 delegates who had the opportunity to compete for the Miss Universe Philippines crown. The Top 5 included Maria Ahtisa Manalo from Quezon Province, Tarah Mae Valencia from Baguio, Stacey Gabriel from Cainta, Chelsea Manalo from Bulacan, and Christi McGarry from Taguig. Chelsea Manalo stood out during the preliminary interviews and also emerged victorious in the Miss Jojo Bragais runway challenge. During the question-and-answer portion of the Top 5, Chelsea expressed her experiences as a woman of color and the challenges she faced. She emphasized the importance of believing in oneself and upholding personal values. She acknowledged the influence she has on others and credited the 52 other delegates for shaping her into the woman she is today.

 The panel of judges for Miss Universe Philippines 2024 included esteemed individuals such as Stanley Ng, President and Chief Operating Officer of Philippine Airlines, Joy Marcelo, Vice President of Sparkle GMA, Archie Carrasco, President of AGC Power Holdings, Vina Yapjuangco, Chief Executive Officer of Kemans, Eusebio Tanco, Chairman of DiGi Plus Interactive Corp., Bea Gomez, Miss Universe Philippines 2021, Jason Co, Chief Financial Officer of Miss Universe Skincare, Camille Co, Chief Operating Officer of Aqua Boracay, Ariella Arida, Miss Universe Philippines 2013, and Crystal Jacinto, Chief Executive Officer of Conti's. The hosts for the 2024 edition were R'Bonney Gabriel, Miss Universe 2022, Jeannie Mai, an American TV personality, and Alden Richards, an actor. Gabbi Garcia and Tim Yap served as segment hosts. 

After crowning the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 winner, four more titles - Supranational, Eco International, Charm, and Cosmo - will be awarded to the remaining finalists. 

Chelsea Manalo will represent the Philippines in the upcoming Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in Mexico later this year. She aims to bring home the fifth Miss Universe crown for the Philippines, succeeding reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios.
