Wide-reaching Medical Caravan of Tingog Partylist in Calubian, Leyte (August 8-9, 2024) Calubian Civic center

On August 8-9, 2024, the Tingog Partylist launched a wide-reaching medical caravan in Calubian, Leyte. The purpose of this event was to provide various medical services to the residents of Calubian, especially to senior citizens, PWDs, pregnant women, children, and others in need. Through this activity, the Tingog Partylist demonstrated their dedication to the health and well-being of the residents of Calubian.

The medical caravan provided comprehensive medical services, including free consultations, check-ups, and medications. It was a significant step to address the immediate healthcare needs of the community, especially for sectors that require more assistance.
The second part of the caravan's objective was to raise awareness about health and safety. Alongside medical services, there were activities and seminars teaching about proper nutrition, hygiene, and self-care. For those with diabetes or at risk of developing it, the HbA1c test was offered to measure average blood sugar levels over the past three to four months. Additionally, a Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) test was conducted for male patients to assess the health of their prostate gland. For thyroid health, a thyroid function test was provided, covering the examination of Free Thyroxine (FT4) and Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH).
Respiratory health was not overlooked, with a dengue test essential for identifying possible or current infections. The wide-reaching medical caravan also offered pregnancy tests for women to determine their reproductive status. For cardiovascular health examinations, an Electrocardiogram (ECG) was conducted to identify any abnormalities in heart rhythm.

Matagumpay na inilunsad ang kauna-unahang 𝙏𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙤𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙮𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙪𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙣 sa Mindanao noong Abril 13-14, 2024 na isinagawa sa Lagao Gymnasium, General Santos City. Mahigit 500 pasyente ang nakatanggap ng libreng blood tests, X-ray, ECG, ultrasound, consultation at libreng gamot. Bukod sa 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔, mayroong ding 𝑫𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔, 𝑶𝒑𝒕𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔 at 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒐𝒓 𝑺𝒖𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒚.Namahagi din ng libreng 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒓𝒔 at 𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒌𝒐𝒅 para sa mga Henerals na nangangailangan nito. Bakas ang tuwa at pasasalamat ng mga pasyente sapagkat namigay din ng libreng pagkain at tubig sa lahat.
