NAVAL, Biliran Island - Meeting the New Installed Director of Digital Regional Office: Melvyn Carlo Barroa and Signing of Memorandum of Understanding for Network Extension Facilities
Mayor Gretchen Stephanie M. Espina welcomed the newly installed DICT VIII Regional Director Atty. Melvyn Carlo Barroa to Naval. They discussed Naval's initiatives toward digitalization and Mayor G expresses gratitude for DICT's active involvement in various programs.

RD Barroa assured that DICT is preparing for new programs and projects that will be implemented this year and that Naval will be one of their partners in carrying them out.
The courtesy visit was all the more significant as RD Barroa and Mayor G signed the Memorandum of Understanding for Network Extension Facilities which will colocate ICT Equipment at the MDRRMO Building to implement Free Wi-Fi sites for the community.
This marks a solid foundation of partnership and collaboration between LGU Naval and DICT in our steps toward innovation.
